Nokia Ad Business is to sell mobile advertising for Reuters UK through its worldwide network of operators and publishers.
The existing Reuters sales team will be supported by the Nokia Ad Business, which was formed when Nokia acquired Enpocket in October 2007. Nokia will also offer further options such as branded mobile web sites for Reuters’ advertisers, enabling them to take advantage of the mobile marketplace.
Tim Faircliff, general manager for consumer media (UK & EMEA) at Reuters, said: “Working with Nokia offers us access to premium global audiences through its advertising network and will offer broader opportunities to our existing media sales team.”
Nokia Ad Business offers advertisers the reach of over 100 million mobile consumers and delivers mobile advertising across multiple formats, including mobile Web display advertising, SMS, MMS, in-application, and video.
