Orange France said it sold over 70,000 Apple iPhones in the first month of sale
The exclusive supplier of the Apple device for France had targeted sales of 50,000 to 100,000 units in this period. It said new Orange customers accounted for 48 per cent of the sales.
It sells the iPhone in France for 399 euros with a contract and 749 euros for the handset only.
