Magmic makes IG Fun look smart

Magmic Games has inked a deal to take IG Fun titles to smartphone platforms.
Canada-based Magmic company now has exclusive, worldwide rights to publish IG Fun mobile titles for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices.
The games will be made available directly to consumers via Magmic.com and Bplay.com, Magmic’s BlackBerry portal, as well as through Magmic’s operator and third-party distribution partners.
Initial releases include Bruce Lee – Iron Fist and NBC’s The Office Games, based on the TV sitcom.
Both titles are expected to be launched in 1Q08.
Magmic already has similar agreements in place with THQ Wireless, Glu Mobile, Hands-On Mobile, PopCap Games and Konami.
Nicholas Reichenbach, VP of publishing for Magmic, said: "IG Fun and their amazing mobile games will be well received by our user base of over a million smartphone customers."
