AdMob says iPhone users 'over-indexing' on mobile ad impressions.

The latest monthly mobile ad metrics report released by AdMob show iPhone users as particularly keen consumers of commercials.

The company says Apple's device over indexes in terms of the ads its serves compared to the comparatively low installed base.

In November iPhone generated 6.65 million ad impressions (including requests and click-throughs) in the US, compared to just 1.86 million in September, taking a 0.9 per cent of all ads served.

In the UK the device accounted for 293,762 ad impressions, equivalent to 0.3 per cent of the market total.
