FunMobility has launched Holiday Wallpaper, an app that changes a phone screen every time there’s a major holiday.
The company says it’s the first product of its kind and it’s already live with Verizon Wireless and Alltel. Holiday Wallpaper’s vector rendering engine enables a Flash-like consumer experience with effects such as animated transitions and advanced user-interface controls. Everything from the splash screen, background menus, colour schemes and icons can be updated and fully refreshed at any time.
The product is currently highlighting winter, Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa. In January, the app will automatically transform into a New Year's Wallpaper application, and in February to a Valentine's Day application.
