Bursting to urinate? New mobile app MizPee will tell you where relief is ‘at hand’.
Yojo Mobile has just launched MizPee 2.0 in major American cities. It’s a multi-platform app that guides people to the nearest khasi based on peer reviews and ratings. Users can access it via WAP, to discover everything they need to know about the best bog in their area.
The site also lets users add bathroom data, reviews and ratings; enjoy local trivia; and learn which restrooms are the ‘best and worst’ in their city. There’s also a “widget” or badge for use on blogs and social networks, including Facebook and Myspace.
Cities currently serviced by MizPee include: Atlanta, Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Oakland, Portland, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Toronto, Washington D.C.
Since the introduction of the beta site in June 2007, the site has had more than 1.4 million hits and has served nearly 100,000 unique users. MizPee support for SMS text messaging is currently under development and is scheduled for availability early next year.
