Player X opens Sydney office

UK content provider boosts Asia Pacific footprint with new Australian operation.
The Sydney office will be responsible for running Player X’s publishing and distribution business in Australia and New Zealand as well as liaising with the the company's Chinese operation.
In addition to a third Asia Pac office in India, Player X now has a presence in Sao Paolo, Orlando, Hamburg, Lyon and Madrid.
Player X CEO Tony Pearce said: "This year has seen Player X open up in South America and India, so opening in Sydney was a natural progression. We are seeing great numbers in Australia and New Zealand so it kicks off what should be a record-breaking 2008 for the company."
