Kamera Wows Chinese

Video specialist Kamera has strengthened its Chinese base, closing a distribution deal with aggregator 1MP.
From tomorrow Chinese mobile subscribers will have access to the Swedish company’s various entertainment channels: WOW! TV, Sportcall and Vidiots. The content will be accessible on carrier portals as well as off deck and be localised by 1MP.
Henrik Pratje, general manager of 1MP, said: “There is a big demand for time sensitive celebrity-driven content in China, comedy is always a winner and likewise sport has universal appeal.’
Kamera works with the The Associated Press, Disney-ABC and Sportfive to produce, package and distribute online and mobile video channels carried by over 80 web sites and mobile operators worldwide.
