Web-to-mobile transcoder InfoGin says 20 million consumers are using its technology to browse the mobile web.
The Israeli specialist’s Intelligent Mobile Platform has been deployed commercially by operators such as Virgin Mobile UK, Mobilkom Austria, AIS (Thailand) and KPN (Netherlands), plus content providers such as AOL, MapQuest and InfoSpace.
Its technology allows subscribers to surf any web site they desire on any mobile device using smart navigation features that eliminate the need to scroll through any content that is not relevant to them.
InfoGin says following the implementation of its solution, customers report a doubling of web site traffic and as much as an 80 per cent decrease in the operational costs of creating and handling web content.
