July feels a Lifetime away

July Systems is to power the Lifetime Networks mobile content portal.
The US-based women's lifestyle cable TV network says it will provide a mix of content and programming information via its portal, which will be made available both on-portal and through D2C channels.
Lifetime has opted use July's SmartMedia platform create, manage and deliver the service. The same technology is also being used by the likes of MTV.
Kimberly Dobson, VP of business development at Lifetime, said: "We selected July to power this initiative as their solution allowed us to provide an integrated brand experience to our users while allowing us to extend our advertising relationships from our TV and online properties to mobile."
