What a week for Jamba – now its chief sales officer Markus Berger-de León has resigned.
Berger-de León’s departure comes days after CEO Lucy Hood left the company. Both of their day to day responsibilities will pass to COO, Lee Fenton although Berger-de León has agreed to continue as an advisor to Fenton.
The German has been synonymous with the D2C giant since its earliest days and was instrumental in the buy-out by Fox Mobile 12 months ago.
He said: “I’ve had five very successful and happy years at Jamba from the days when it was a small operation in three countries…to the merger with Fox Mobile Entertainment…I now want to be able to explore new opportunities.”
