T-Mob Austria goes multiplayer

Austria is the latest T-Mobile territory to launch Terraplay-powered multiplayer games.
The launch is part of a long-term agreement between the operator and Terraplay that has already seen T-Mobile UK launch multiplayer games based on the platform.
Like in the UK, the Austrian service provides T-Mobile with an operator branded community portal - dubbed Multiplayer Zone - for all connected games and also includes in-game billing, enabling various subscription models.
In addition, single-player games can be 'wrapped' to enable online tie-ins to the community. The connected component of the service is also shared with other operators, allowing cross-operator gameplay and user interaction where permitted.
Supporting games publishers include THQ, Glu, Player X and MIS.
