Recent sign-ups include Fox interactive Media, Celltick and Sennari Entertainment, taking the MMA's total membership to 450 companies.

Last month the organisation issued mobile banner ad guidelines for EMEA.

MMA president Laura Marriott said: "More companies than ever before are engaging the mobile channel as a marketing tool. Under the guidance of the MMA, hundreds of companies are working to deliver a positive and consistent mobile marketing experience for consumers."
