Playphone's duet with EMI

US D2C player PlayPhone is to distribute mobile music products for EMI Music.
The deal brings artists such as Coldplay, Norah Jones, KT Tunstall and Lenny Kravitz to PlayPhone’s own portals and its network of portal partners.
Ron Czerny, CEO of PlayPhone, said: “Having an organization such as EMI choose us as their distribution partner is further validation of our ability to put entertainment companies in touch with today’s savvy mobile content consumer.”
