Touch in distance

HTC has sold over 800,000 units of its iPhone-like Touch device.
The handset went on sale in July, just days after Apple’s phone was launched in June. It was always going to be a tough call for the Taiwanese vendor to match the iPhone hype, but 800,000 sales – albeit across multiple operators in multiple territories – represents a good return.
Now, HTC is ready with an updated version called the Touch Dual. It features a slide-out keypad and gesture-recognition technology. The first Touch introduced the TouchFLO UI for quick dialing, navigation and browsing using a flick of the fingers. The OS used is Windows Mobile 6.
