Player X to distribute AdME's GuitarStar 'beat-matching' game globally.
The game is described as 'advertainment', with players asked to press buttons on their handsets in time with the music they are hearing and visual cues on screen.
AdME (Advertising-driven Mobile Entertainment) says it's in negotiations with a wide array of consumer brands and recording labels to exploit commercial opportunities within the game.
For example, tracks from several 'up and coming' bands are already part of the game.
Peter Eggleston, AdME CEO said: "GuitarStar’s unique combination of gaming, music and branding capability makes it one of the most compelling mobile products available for both user and advertising communities alike."
