AOL planning single mobile app?

AOL is planning to integrate its disparate mobile offerings into one master portal.
According to BusinessWeek.com, the web giant is working on a software module will give users of services such as AOL Mail, AOL Instant Messenger, Moviefone theatrer listings, MapQuest navigation software and City Guide local search a more unified experience.
At present these services are offered by carriers, but often in isolation.
AOL is reportedly now looking to cut deals with handset companies too. BusinessWeek.com says AOL is in discussions with HTC and others to install its software modules on their devices.
AOL is also hiring voraciously in mobile. Its site currently lists 14 mobile-related jobs including one for senior strategy manager.
