Likeness of O2 UK subscriber used in VG Mobile's upcoming Crash Bandicoot game.

Games publisher VG Mobile teamed with O2 UK in April to run a competition around its Crash Bandicoot Mini Games, with the winner to appear in upcoming Crash of the Titans game.

Thus Stephen Massart, from London, will be the face of Crash nemesis Dimbo in the new game, which will be released in Europe during October.

France-based VG Mobile is increasingly pro-active in the marketing support given to its titles.

It started using MySpace in April to find the stars of its Surviving High School game. The company has also worked with viral media agency Omelet to promote The Incredible Machine game and is preparing an extensive viral campaign for upcoming FPS Urban Attack.
