UK mobile users can now hire voiceover artists to record voicetones for them.
Ringtone provider VoxTone is offering consumers the chance to use a professional voiceover specialist to record any word or phrase they want and keep it as a ringtone. They can design their tone at www.voxtoneonline.co.uk, which will be recorded and delivered within 48 hours; either to the phone or a chosen email account. VoxTone is currently available in both MP3 and WAV formats to T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Vodafone, Orange and 3 customers in the UK. A tone costs £4.50 on mobile and £2.50 when sent to an email address.
Nadeem Mughal, CEO of VoxTone Communications Inc, said: "Mobile users currently have limited options when it comes to customising their ringtones. They are at the mercy of what's currently on offer and what's been created for them, rather than being able to create their own unique tone. We are re-introducing choice for customers all over the UK who want something really different and who want to take control of their own personal mobile identity."
