VG Mobile and Capcom have confirmed support for Nokia's next-gen N-Gage platform.
Ahead of tomorrow's expected unveiling of Nokia's smartphone games software, France-based Vivendi Games Mobile and Japan's Capcom have revealed provisional line-ups for N-Gage MkII.
VG Mobile will be brining the Crash Bandicoot 'franchise' to the platform, though it has not confirmed specific titles.
Meanwhile, Capcom (the first Japanese publisher to commit to the new N-Gage) says some of its most famous brands - Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Megaman were cited in the press release - will find their way on to N-Gage in 2008.
Unlike its orginal incarnation, Nokia's next-gen N-Gage paltform will work across a raft of Series 60 smartphones, with users able to buy games OTA, via a PC-based store or on memory card.
The Finnish company is hosting a huge event in London on Wednesday morning to unveil the full details of the project publicly for the first time. It will also be detailing an iTunes-rivalling music download store - watch this space for full coverage.
