Selatra inks Russia deal

Ireland's Selatra to power Vimpelcom mobile games service.
An extensive catalogue of Java games will be available to all Vimpelcom customers from the beginning of September, downloadable from from the operator's Beeline web and wap portals.
Seletra will be providing its content management platform as part of a deal facilitated by the Moscow office of overseas trade body Enterprise Ireland.
Vimpelcom operates in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Armenia.
Vimpelcom marketing director Zinaida Khokhlova said: "We have chosen Selatra to partner with us because of their long standing expertise in the mobile games business, their flexible support and their unrivalled games catalogue."
Seletra CEO Sean Cronin said: "Vimpelcom will benefit from our robust, scalable games service that saves them time, money and helps build new revenue streams quickly.” said Sean Cronin, CEO of Selatra. “This contract win was facilitated greatly by the support of the Enterprise Ireland Moscow office with whom we work closely”, he added.
