MYiOTA kicks off footy service

The SMS-style mobile internet browser MYiOTA has added football news to its service.
Footie fans can go to wap.myiota.co.uk/football in their mobile browser to download the application. The service will provide information for the new UK season, plus alerts for favourite teams together with headlines for all leagues. It offers both free and paid for information.
The basis of MYiOTA’s appeal is that it speeds up and reduces the cost of mobile web browsing by delivering only text content, and displaying it in a familiar SMS-style menu.
So, for example, after a site is viewed it is then stored in an inbox as a saved message.
Technology developed by MYiOTA enables consumers to receive information from websites, WAP, RSS, SMS services, or blogs - in fact any service that is available on the Web or by SMS.
