Symbian in a Sling

Sling Media is testing its TV streaming technology on Series 60 devices.
Engadget reports that SlingPlayer technology, which enables users to remotely stream pictures from their TV set-top box to a PC, is being tested in the US with Nokia's N75, N95 and E65 devices.
It's not the first time Sling Media has dabbled in mobile - or Symbian. The service is currently available as part of 3 UK's X-Series multimedia offering, which uses S60 devices.
Sling told ME last October that a Symbian version of its software was on the cards.
A key issue for such services in mobile is the amount of data they consume. 3 UK currently includes all data usage as part of its subscription fees.
