Gamefederation's connected gaming technology is helping to give English lessons to the Chinese.
Language training specialist EF is offering a mobile version of its official Beijing 2008 Olympic Games English lessons using GEX technology from Gamefederation - until now best know for its work in the mobile multiplayer games space.
EF's mobile services will be launched first to subscribers in China through MSN China, and thereafter with other Internet portals and mobile operators.
The first EF Mobile English product will be a version of the Englishtown daily email lesson service, currently being offered daily to over four million students around the world.
It will go live during Q4.
Interactive content with a mix of sounds, pictures and text will be provided free of charge. A paid service featuring video-based content will be launched in 2008.
EF has already launched SMS, WAP, iPod and iMode content in other markets.
