3 UK adds Yahoo! IM

The deal builds on 3's exiting Windows Live Messenger offering.
The success of 3's existing instant messaging service - in June its customers sent 133 million messages using Windows Live Messenger - has prompted the operator to add Yahoo! IM to the mix.
3 already offers its customers Yahoo! Go 2.0, which includes email and Yahoo!’s oneSearch mobile search product.
All of 3’s 3.9 million customers are able to take advantage of free (up to 10,000 messages a month) Yahoo! Messenger for life on selected handsets on all 3’s Pay Monthly plans, but only until the end of 2007 on all Pay As You Go plans.
3 UK recently added Google search to the Planet 3 portal, though there's no word yet on whether Google's IM service will complete an instant messaging triumvirate for the operator.
