EA to bring high-speed racing franchise to mobile handsets
Global games publisher Electronic Arts has announced that its hugely popular racing genre Burnout is to coming to mobile phones.
Redesigned for the mobile platform, the game will still boast all the features fans of the series have become accustomed to – including the trademark boosting and even the takedowns that have become so prominent in later versions of the game.
“With Burnout in your pocket, you can tap into the adrenaline fuelled excitement of fast and reckless driving at the push of a button no matter where you are,” EA Mobile’s VP European Publishing stated Javier Ferreira.
“The game is incredibly easy to get into and enjoy, whether you’re a racer at heart or prefer to stick to the Highway Code.”
