dotMobi offers free city names

More than 650 free city.mobi URLs are up for grabs.
dotMobi, the company that administers the .mobi domain, is making the offer in light of a successful trial of the helsinki.mobi service with local authorities in Finland's capital.
The Dublin-based company has now 'reserved' the names of cities around the world for mobile web services services that offer content relevant to both locals and tourists.
The names are being made available for local governments or their designees for an initial period of two years with provisions for renewing the names.
dotMobi will evaluate all proposals and successful applicants will enter into a contract with dotMobi. The application process opens August 20 and continues indefinitely.
