Nokia: Can I borrow a feeling?

Nokia has gone all touchy-feely and licensed Immersion's VibeTonz technology.
The handset vendor has followed LG and Samsung by signing up for a long-term, worldwide deal to put the tactile feedback system in its devices.
VibeTonz can add tactile cues for touchscreen interfaces and touch feedback in mobile games. The technology also adds subwoofer-style vibe beats in ringtones and MP3s and personalised tactile text messages and alerts.
It’s already embedded in more than four million phones worldwide,
Immersion will supply its VibeTonz SDK to Nokia's Forum Nokia developer community for creating downloadable applications and content for VibeTonz-enabled products.
