US prepares for i-Day

The time for talking is over: iPhone goes on sale in the US later today.
After six months of hot air Apple's iPhone will finally be made available to AT&T Wireless customers in a few hours time. Some misguided souls have been queuing outside Apple stores for days.
There's not much to say about the device that hasn't already been said by fanboys (and girls), analysts, bloggers and those lucky enough to get their hands on preview devices.
As ever, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Check back here later today and on Monday for reaction to the launch.
