MTV has commissioned a second series of cross-platform series Meet or Delete.
In Europe and Asia the Hewlett Packard-sponsored show, in both long and short-form variations, is rolling out on MTV’s mobile TV, websites and TV channels. In the US, the show is rolling out on MTV’s 24-hour college channel, mtvU and mtvU.com, as well as MTV, MTV.com and MTV mobile channels.
HPs deal with MTV Networks was brokered and will be managed on a global level by Zenith Optimedia and Viacom Brand Solutions Global.
Specific Meet or Delete mobile offerings in Europe include four new short-form episodes of Meet or Delete in 31 European countries. The episodes will be shot in Sweden, Spain, Germany and the UK.
MTV has also launched a Meet or Delete WAP site that will feature up to 16 episodes of the show.
Gideon Bierer, SVP of digital media at MTV Networks International, said: "Meet or Delete delivers on our digital promise to reach audiences wherever they are. It’s a great example of a creative idea which has been developed across platforms - mobile and online as well as on-air – and customised for MTV audiences in Europe, Asia and the US."
