Bee for Bollywood

Bollywood mobile giant Hungama Mobile is working with Amobee to bring ad-funded content to the South Asian market.
The partnership with Amobee will enable targeted ads to be dynamically inserted into Hungama’s apps, including WAP browsing, video, music, games, SMS and MMS.
Although Hungama is known for its film and music related products, it’s also a highly successful mobile marketing provider, and has implemented campaigns for brands such as McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Citibank and Apple.
This deal will therefore also enable Hungama’s clients to implement a mobile advertising solution across carrier networks and WAP sites including Hungama’s own.
The new revenue stream could be significant in market where ARPU is typically sub $8 per month.
The deal is another milestone for Amobee, which has already announced alliances with SDC for ad-funded music, Exit Games for ad-funded gaming, and Anam Mobile for ad-funded messaging.
