Nokia to rock up at Download

Nokia will providing metal heads with exclusive downloadable content at next month's Download 2007 rock festival.
Nokia's Rock Up & Play campaign rolls into Donington Park in the UK on June 8th as part of its official sponsorship of the three-day event.
A downloadable mobile festival guide is available from the Rock Up & Play website. The app features general Download information, including stage listings and maps that can be zoomed in and out of. Users can also access free content and will have the chance to enter exclusive competitions.
The website is also home to an online user-gen community and exclusive content from bands like Aiden and Bowling For Soup.
Nokia will also be hosting Q&A sessions with various bands in its Rock Up & Play hospitality tent.
Marcus Dacombe, acting head of marketing at Nokia UK, said: "We’re excited to be making Rock Up & Play bigger and better this year, whether it’s through our new online community, our exclusive artist Q&A Sessions or our Rock Up & Play stage at Download. We’re also providing a mobile festival guide which uses the latest mobile technology to give festival-goers something of real benefit."
