Serial entrepreneur Chris Gorman has thrown his weight behind a new mobile TV and video provider set up by Activefone vet Mark Watts.
VS3P says it will offer mobile video production and publishing services to brands, media companies and operators.
The company will also provide a raft of managed mobile services including branded mobile auctions, competitions, marketing services and WAP site construction.
VS3P was founded by CEO Mark Watts, who was previously chief of operations at Activefone, where he oversaw development of the MOMO user generated content platform.
Chris Gorman OBE (former Young Entrepreneur of the Year, UK E-Business Entrepreneur, Young Business Leader of the Year, Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland in Business, and the laudable SBAAT Businessman of the Year Award) is on board as VS3P chairman.
He said: "As mobile networks get faster and mobile handsets become increasingly sophisticated, consumers are becoming more and more habituated to the array of mobile services, such as video and competitions that are available to them.
The market for these services, is clearly potent and ripe for growth. VS3P sits perfectly in this space.”
Watts added: "The demand for good quality mobile video is a given, yet few companies really understand the technical and creative parameters of the platform. VS3P only produces content for the small screen so that brands, operators and media companies can confidently use our services knowing the end-user experience that we provide heightens the overall brand experience."
