Mobile Interactive Group has signaled its North American ambitions through a new partnership with SinglePoint.
The deal enables SinglePoint to use MIG’s technology platform to offer brands and broadcasters various forms of participation TV.
This includes MIG's VoteWinner SMS/SMS voting platform, its InstantWinner interactive TV platform and the MIDAS application delivery platform.
MIG's solutions are already being used by the likes of FremantleMedia, Endemol and Celador in Europe.
Barry Houlihan, MD and founder of MIG, said: “This partnership will enable SinglePoint and MIG to offer world class mass participation mobile technology and messaging services to one of the fastest growing mobile interactive markets in the world."
Doug Busk, VP of industry relations at SinglePoint, said: “MIG’s applications and mobile marketing platforms, combined with SinglePoint’s content delivery access to hundreds of millions of wireless subscribers across all the major US carriers, is an extremely powerful proposition for companies looking to launch new mobile marketing campaigns."
