ME Awards - get your nominations in!

Nominations are pouring in for the ME Awards, which formally opened for submissions last week. Make sure you’re under consideration!
The ME Awards are a highlight of the content biz calendar – with over 500 people expected to attend the big night on September 18th at the Brewery in Central London. This year there will be 20 awards, with new categories including Best Search Provider, Best Community Service Provider and Best Mobile Publishing Platform.
To find out more, companies should visit http://www.mobile-ent.biz/awards/mea2007qa.pdf and peruse a PDF detailing the award categories, the kind of companies that are eligible for each one and instructions on how to enter. To be considered for the shortlists, companies should send a short pitch document to ME-awards@intentmedia.co.uk.
Deadline for entries is June 23rd. Finalists will be published on July 31st.
Ultimate winners will be decided by a panel of over 300 carefully selected content biz execs.
The evening will be supported by a host of high ranking industry sponsors. Nokia has signed up as a Platinum Partner, which ensures a major promotional profile for the handset giant in the build-up to the event and headline billing on the night itself. Sega Mobile will contribute to proceedings as Gold Partner while Player X will host a pre-event party at the nearby King’s Head pub after signing up as a Silver Partner.
