ITN On makes the news with music service

News and entertainment specialist ITN On is set to launch a music division.
The company believes its track record of producing a wide range of content give it the production skills to help music labels to exploit their calalogues better on mobile and web.
The operation will be headed by Ross Landau, who currently runs music sales in ITN Source, selling music video content from ITN, Reuters, Granada and others.
Nicholas Wheeler, MD of ITN On said: ”ITN On has made a mark in a wide variety of mobile and broadband content markets away from our traditional news heritage.
Launching a music division seems logical seeing as we have a great production unit
and music works so well on the new platforms. We’re very excited to have attracted
someone with Ross’s music pedigree to join us”.
