Hands-On has been dealt a winning hand – it’s bagged a multi-year extension to the World Poker Tour licence.
WPT Enterprises granted the extension after Hands-On made the licence a huge success on mobile. The publisher has sold more than five million downloads and hosted hundreds of thousands of hands played weekly of its WPT Texas Hold ‘Em products. Indeed the first title in the series was the best selling multi-player mobile game in the US.
“Extending our brand beyond television and onto mobile devices has catapulted the World Poker Tour franchise into the number one poker brand across multiple platforms, including TV, mobile and online,” said Steve Lipscomb, CEO of WPTE.
