Keynote Systems is to extend the availability of its content testing and monitoring to small and medium sized companies on an ‘as needed’ basis.
Its “shared infrastructure” will allow content developers, service providers and carriers to cost-effectively measure, monitor and manage the quality and performance of mobile apps from their own desktops.
Customers can access the network using Keynote’s two products: Mobile Device Perspective (MDP) and Mobile Application Perspective (MAP). The former addresses the challenge lets customers test content using real devices on live wireless networks around the globe.
The latter validates content on thousands of 1,000+ emulated device profiles.
To date, both MDP and MAP have been sold strictly as dedicated services to companies with more extensive mobile testing and monitoring needs. With today’s announcement, they are accessible by small and mid-sized companies too. Prices start at $500 per day for interactive testing services and $500 per month for transaction monitoring.
