Games specialist Telcogames was highest ranked among 13 mobile content companies listed in GP Bullhound’s 50 fastest growing digital media businesses in the UK.

The investment bank’s Media Momentum league table ranks companies on revenue growth achieved between 2003 and 2005, with companies required to have delivered revenues of at least £500k in 2005. Telcogames registered an extraordinary 1,408 per cent growth in this period. It was listed seventh.

GP Bullhound’s list, compiled in association with Sky Media, Barclays and Olswang, is recognised by the industry as covering the best known companies in the digital media industry with previous winners including Betfair and Espotting.

Win PLC

The top 50 companies in this year’s list collectively grew their revenue base from £139 million to £453 million in a two year period.

Skill gaming web site King.com was the overall fastest growing media company with reported growth of 20,900 per cent.

Media Momentum also made awards to exceptional companies on the list. Winners included Shazam Entertainment (Vision and Future Growth Potential) and Opera Interactive (Best Management team). The judging panel included ME’s Tim Green.
