Glu Mobile will continue to develop and publisher Sega titles in Europe, including Football Manager Quiz, Total War and Wonderboy.
The new deal builds on a previous agreement that saw Glu develop and publish Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Monkey Ball, Virtua Tennis and Chu Chu Rocket in EMEA.
Football Manager Quiz, based on the Football Manager franchise, will be the first game released under the new agreement in spring 2007.
Alan Pritchard, UK managing director at Sega Europe, said: “Glu has demonstrated a great ability to deliver quality games for mobile that meet the needs of both Sega and, more importantly, gamers on the go. With this in mind we are happy to be extending our agreement with Glu by working on a further four titles together.”
Kristian Segerstråle, managing director of EMEA at Glu Mobile, said: “The extension of our relationship with SEGA highlights Glu’s strength in working with key partners, and maintaining the brand values entrusted to us.
Sega has some of the most recognisable and prevalent gaming brands in the world and we look forward to working with them to bring the titles consumers know and love to mobile phones throughout Europe.”
Last week Glu announced a similar deal that will see it publish mobile games based on several key Codemasters franchises, including Colin McRae Rally, Operation Flashpoint, TOCA Race Driver and LMA Manager.
