Five more years of the Crazy Frog

Time to invest in some new earplugs. A deal has been struck that means The Crazy Frog will continue to appear in European kids’ games until at least 2012.
Myriad Interactive has signed a five-year contract with Eric Wernquist and Kaktus Film for their The Annoying Thing property.
The licence covers video games, and includes all the characters made famous by the Jamster series of ringtones and videotones.
“The Annoying Thing has now broken through as a global brand, whether you love it or hate it,” said founding partner of Myriad Interactive Leo Zullo. “There is a lot of work and effort being put into the character and its future.
More details of this will be released soon.”
The Annoying Thing/Crazy Frog video games have already sold in excess of one million copies worldwide.
We are also hearing rumours that an Annoying Thing movie is the pipeline, which will no-doubt see Annoying Thing mobile content released to help promote a film that is based on a piece of mobile content. Scary stuff.
