Mobile Interactive Group has renewed its contract to provide mobile interactive services for series 21 of Celador’s Who Wants To Me A Millionaire? TV show.
MIG has already delivered mobile services for series 19 and 20 of the show, which enabled viewers using their handset to either earn a place as a contestant on the show or play the 'Walkaway' game.
Series 21 will see Celador use a new interactive game called 'Breakaway', where presenter Chris Tarrant will give viewers the opportunity to answer one of the contestant’s questions via mobile. Viewers will have the length of a commercial break to answer the question correctly.
MIG and Celador will also work in partnership with Honeycone, which will provide the time stamping element of the Breakaway”service.
Mobile Interactive Group MD Barry Houlihan, said: “We are delighted to have renewed our contract with Celador and look forward to the new series being yet another interactive hit with viewers.”
Selma Turajilic, head of interactive media at Celador, said: “Mobile Interactive Group has been a trusted and reliable partner for Celador and we are pleased to be able to extend our partnership with them.”
