Motorola will collaborate with Warner Music and Microsoft to beef up its ‘MotoMusic’ offering.

Warner Music Group will provide exclusive premium content such as full-length songs, ringtones, ringback tones, mobile music videos, wallpapers and more.

The label will also work with Moto on the development of new digital products, marketing campaigns and strategic planning.

Meanwhile, Microsoft will collaborate with Moto to make it easier for consumers to transfer music from PC to phone.

One of the first mobile products expected to be offered as part of the Warner alliance is the MOTO Experience Pack, which comprises a single file downloaded to the mobile device that contains several music-based products.

The news reflects Moto’s desire to claw back some mindshare in mobile music after Sony Ericsson and Nokia have spent the last 18 months filling the market with dedicated music phones and content initiatives.

Although Moto did launch a Rokr iTunes device and has done interesting things with iRadio, most observers would agree it’s not readily associated with mobile music.

Moto has also revealed new devices to strengthen its music strategy. The Linux-based Motorize Z6 slider is a mid-tier music handset compatible with Microsoft Windows Media Player subscription stores. It offers up to 2GB of removable microSD memory and features dedicated music keys for accessing and managing the library. The Motoming is another Linux-based device withRealPlayer media player, FM radio, ‘play while closed’ capability and up to 1GB of microSD memory.

A final announcement saw Moto reveal that a Java-based version of Yahoo Go! is to be made available for download to the new Razr V6 and V3xx devices.
