Hundreds of nominations poured in for the Sega-sponsored awards last month as the deadline for entries loomed. Thereafter a small panel of experts made their judgements on which nominees should make the shortlists in 18 award categories.

Over 300 industry execs are now set to appraise these shortlists and will vote for their winners over the next few weeks. The victors will receive their awards in September at the Kensington Royal Garden Hotel in London.  Go to www.mobile-ent.biz/awards for more details.
