dotMobi, the organisation behind the '.mobi' mobile internet domain name, will sponsor the Best Operator Content Service award at the forthcoming ME Awards.
The company believes the sponsorship will help drive the momentum already gathered by dotMobi since its launch in June. It received 7,500 registrations inside its first 10 days of service and is well on its way to a 15,000 target set for October.
At the ME Awards, dotMobi will support the prize for the best content service offered by a network on the operator portal. Neil Edwards, CEO of dotMobi, said: "We’re delighted to be a sponsor at the first ME Awards.
As an enabler of mobile content it makes perfect sense for us to support an award that encourages the best and most innovative efforts in this exciting and growing industry."
The ME Awards take place on September 19th at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. The finalists are revealed inside the August issue of ME, which is published in a few days.
