To celebrate the day of Love – or loneliness – the mobile comms service is offering free calls to spread your affections.

textPlus - the app that offers carrier style services at cheaper prices – is offering users in the US and Canada free calls to landlines and mobiles on Valentine’s Day using iOS and Android.

Users can for one-day-only spread the love for free , amongst all those lucky enough to be enjoying Valentine’s with their better half, or those who are sitting home on their own - eating ice cream - watching Bridget Jones - and wishing someone would just love them.

Ok, so now you know my plans…

Scot Lahman, founder and CEO of textPlus, said: “This is our way of helping you stay connected. This Valentine’s Day, we hope you use the gift of free calling to get in touch, stay in touch and tell someone special that you care.”

Unfortunately the deal is only available in the US and Canada, but if anyone would like to give me call, I’ll accept the charges!!

Please?...

textPlus’ services are available over wi-fi, 3G and 4G meaning you can bypass your network’s services and use the app to save a little extra money.

Valentine's Fortnight will provide you with the latest apps, interviews, insider comments and data, so if your business would like to get involved and act as a partner, please contact Alex.Boucher@intentmedia.co.uk regarding commercial opportunities and Zen.Terrelonge@intentmedia.co.uk for editorial queries.
