Mobile marketing campaigns launched across Vodafone, EE and O2.
Nike and supermarket chain Morrisons are set to become the first two brands to launch mobile marketing campaigns across Vodafone, EE and O2 at the same time via the Weve joint venue, Marketing Magazine has reported.
Later this week, Nike and Morrisons will begin running activity across all three of the networks, following the addition of Vodafone to the Weve mobile advertising and commerce platform. By utilising location-based, text and video messages, both brands will be able to contact around 15 million mobile users via Weve.
The majority of the 15 million users are O2 customers. This is due to network’s long-running mobile ad platform O2 More, which has worked with several brands, including Pizza Hut.
Meanwhile, brands remain unable to contact consumers on Three, Virgin Mobile or Tesco Mobile networks using Weve as they have yet to sign up for the joint venture.
Weve is now working on a number of extra offerings, such as display advertising and NFC-based loyalty services.
