Our client is a market leading provider of location based services and as a consequence of continued growth within the market they are seeking an Account Manager to further strengthen their position within the UK market.

Job Description

The person will be responsible for managing the relationships with some partners (licensees both direct and indirect, device manufactures and MNOs) in the UK region.  The person will have revenue responsibility and will be expected to conduct both sales and business development activities.  A proven ability in developing and managing large and complex accounts is critical, as is the ability to work in a cross functional and international organization both as an individual and as a team member.

As an experienced Account Manager the right candidate will be expected to able to establish comprehensive account plans and be able demonstrate and ability to structure their time to effectively cover multiple accounts.

Role Requirements
· Ideally relevant experience in the Navigation/LBS market
· Excellent presentation skills
· An affinity with consumer market research reports and the ability to present with authority
· Proven experience in negotiating complex contracts involving intellectual property
· Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage complex price quotations
· Proven skills in prospecting a territory and finding any relevant commercial opportunity
· A good technical background in wireless technologies
· Significant experience in selling software, services and/or preferably content into large accounts of the
· wireless value chain including application developers, device manufactures and MNOs
· Knowledge of the major companies in the wireless value chain (carriers, infrastructure providers, device manufacturers, application developers, and sales channels)

Qualifications & Education
· Education University degree
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
