The ad-serving platform has rolled out Mocean Mobile Exchange - a mobile ad marketplace, that will connect its customers though a streamline marketplace for both supply and demand.
The Mocean Mobile Exchange will cause fill rates and revenues to increase, and will cause the way that Mocean Mobile publishers, networks and ad agencies access inventories within marketplaces to standardise.
Dave Gwozdz, CEO of Mocean Parent company Mojiva Inc, said: "Our goal for the Mocean Mobile Exchange is simple: to leverage all of the demand-side sources integrated within the Mocean Mobile platform in a parallel bid environment to create liquidity in the mobile ad marketplace."
eMarketer research has supported the platform, stating that nearly one in five display ad dollars in 2013 will go to RTB and 64 per cent of all mobile ad requests were processed programatically in Q4 2012.
The new RTB platform tackles some of the biggest mobile ad industry challenges such as the advertisers inability to scale campaigns as well as a lack of fill for publishers.
The entire market will feel the benefits of Mocean Mobile Exchange as it will increase the ad-dollar spent in mobile, and larger app businesses who rely on demand partners for monetisation - due to lacking a sales team - will also gain from this.
