You may have heard that tennis hero Andy Murray is the first British man to win Wimbledon for 7 years.
Naturally, social media was alight with talk of the surly Scotsman's victory against Novak Djokovic and Facebook has reported around 20 million global interactions comprising posts, comments and likes as the final matches approached.
Meanwhile, Murray has secured more than 230,000 new fans to his Facebook Page for a total of nearly 1.3 million likes, while rival Djokovic added 30,000 fans, for a total of 3.1 million likes.
